"Thoroughly Modern Millie" Feb 24-26, March 2-4, March 9-11 - Fri and Sat at 8pm, Sun at 2pm Tickets go on sale February 3 at 1pm - Adult - $15, Children - $8 Who is in the cast, you ask? Here's a partial list - we've lot of dancers and chorus members, too! Natalie Naidl will be Millie Dillmount, Tim Shonkwiler is Jimmy Smith, Tasha Fain is Miss Dorothy Brown, Eric Monson will be Trevor Graydon, Mary Borden is Mrs. Meers, Caleb Gueldenhaar will be Ching Ho, Cara Ayers is Muzzy Van Hossmere, Toni D'Archangelo is Miss Flannery, Mara Lynn Luther is Alice, Laura Perticara will be Gloria, Kayla Howard is Cora, Aryn Howard will be Rita. Serena Howard is Lucille, Annie Carroll will be Ethyl Peas. Also in the cast are: Max Naidl, Tara Ellis, Ben Peterson, Kay Ownbey, Rale Sidebottom, Suzanne Casteel, Garrison Wood, Nichole Perkins, Steve Hinton, Nichole Nichols, Markie Montgromery and Windy Brown.
The New Season has been announced! Instead of a season that runs through portions of two years, the Hamilton Players Board of Directors has decided to start seasons that follow the calendar year. Instead of the season starting with the summer shows, it will instead start in January. In order to make this happen, our next season will include 8 shows and runs through October of 2013, with our new artistic calendar beginning in 2014. So, with that explanation out of the way, here are the shows planned for 2012 and 2013 at the Hamilton Playhouse! June 2012 - The Sound of Music August 2012 - Wally's Cafe October 2012 - The Diary of Anne Frank February 2013 - Sweeney Todd April 2013 - The Women June 2013 - Anything Goes August 2013 - Nunsense October 2013 - (To Be Announced) Two types of Season Tickets will be offered: 1) The full 8-show schedule for 2012 and 2013 2) A 5-show "family season ticket" which includes The Sound of Music, Walley's Cafe, The Diary of Anne Frank, Anything Goes and the Oct 2013 production, yet to be named. Season tickets will go on sale April 2, 2012 at 1pm.
The "Wish List" for The Playhouse are looking forward to 2012 in bringing quality community theater productions and classes to the Bitterroot. Donations are always welcome to our General Fund. They keep the doors open! And we wouldn't be able to get our plays on stage without our production sponsors - local businesses who also see the benefit of live theater with the Hamilton Players! But there are other specific needs on our Wish List: A digital camera (for cast and production photos); a new vacuum cleaner; a new ShopVac; a new CD player for the tech booth; a floor waxer/buffer; Rolling storage racks, Rubbermaid storage tubs. If you have questions, come by the Playhouse at 100 Ricketts Road and we'll give you the answers, and a brief tour, if you'd like. Thanks again!
